Mama

Mama is an autobiographical snapshot, documenting the experiment of the maternal exercise of power on the daughter/artist. By making the artists personal conflict with her mother and the life idea for her daughter publicly Judith Huemer wakes this "inner Mom" in the observer and raises associations to home, security and family. With the interactive project the artist sensitizes the audience and by the written reactions her mother for the making of demands of other persons. Judith Huemer asks the audience to consciously deal with family and social role behavior, heteronomy, wrong anticipations and dependency.
